Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), a pioneer in intelligent mobility solutions and India’s top exporter of automobiles has unveiled the new 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift. This car has unique features, stylistic improvements and the most significant safety measures in its class. The starting price (ex-showroom) is Rs 6.99 lakh.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Interior and Exterior Changes

The carmaker’s most recent design philosophy dictates the new i20’s looks. It receives new LED headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs following this. For a bolder look, it even has front and rear bumpers. The new models have sharp creases and a sportier, more aerodynamic appearance. The redesigned grille is an additional significant frontal change. The vehicle has brand-new 16-inch alloy wheels that are visible from the side. Amazon Grey, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White + Black Roof, and Fiery Red + Black Roof are some of the available colours for the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift.

The 2023 i20’s interior features dual-tone grey-black interior panels and ambient lighting for a cosy atmosphere. The BOSE audio system with seven speakers, the 10.25-inch infotainment system, and the D-cut steering wheel from the Creta have all been kept. Even leatherette door armrests, seats, and ambient sound playback are available in the interior. Additional features include an electric sunroof, connected car technology, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and automatic climate control. The new i20 has over 60 connected car capabilities, 127 embedded VR commands, 52 Hinglish voice commands, over-the-air upgrades, and multilingual UI support for ten regional and two international languages.

The new i20 2023 provides best-in-class safety measures, similar to the Exter. It has 26 standard safety features, including six airbags, electronic stability control, hill assist control, vehicle stability management, antilock brakes, and electronic brake distribution. The Hyundai i20 sets a new standard for safety in the premium hatchback segment with its top-spec model, which includes more than 40 safety features like the Burglar alarm, Emergency stop signal, rear parking camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Highline, headlamp escort function and Automatic headlamps.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Price

The Hyundai i20’s 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine remains under the hood. The CVT (an IVT in automaker terminology) and 5-speed manual transmissions are available. The Idle Stop & Go (ISG) feature is an important innovation to improve the vehicle’s fuel economy in metropolitan areas. The new model is priced between Rs. 6.99 lakh and Rs. 11.01 lakh (ex-showroom). The warranty for the new car is three years or 100,000 kilometres.
