Aprilia RS 457 unveiled in India

Today, in India, the world-famous Italian two-wheeler maker Aprilia presented their long-awaited and much-anticipated RS 457 motorbike to the public for the first time.

This two-wheeled marvel has the potential to be the most wallet-friendly option that the well-known Italian company has available for use on Indian roads.

Taking influences from its more illustrious siblings, the RS 660 and the RSV4, the RS 457 flaunts a fascinating design, sports a distinctive design, and features the same fascinating split LED headlamps topped by a sleek transparent visor. This design draws inspiration from its famed siblings.

The RS 457 boasts tiny fin-like vents on the side fairings, just below the handlebars, to increase its aerodynamic capabilities, delivering an agile and thrilling ride. The RS 457 embraces the aggressive attitude of an actual supersport motorbike, complete with rear-set footpegs, low-slung clip-on handlebars and a forward-leaning rider posture, thanks to its racing DNA. It is available from Aprilia in three different paint jobs, turning it into a performance powerhouse and an aesthetic show.

Aprilia RS 457 Engine

Under the hood of the RS 457 is a dependable 457cc twin-cylinder engine that is cooled by liquid and sports a 270-degree crankshaft. This engine can generate up to 47 hp at its total power output. The motor is coupled to a gearbox that has six different speeds. There is even an optional quickshifter for those lightning-fast gear changes that don’t require you to use the clutch if you don’t want to.

The RS 457 has cutting-edge features like ride-by-wire, a three-level switchable traction control system, selectable ride modes, and an ABS. These features are geared toward riders who are knowledgeable about technology. This technological sophistication is shown on a crisp five-inch TFT screen and comes replete with smartphone connectivity to stay connected even when you’re on the go.

The eagerly anticipated pricing information for the Aprilia RS 457 will be made public by Aprilia India in the not-too-distant future; nevertheless, expectations are running high, and estimations place it at a price that is greater than Rs. 4 lakh (ex-showroom).
