Bajaj Auto August Sales Report: A Closer Look at the 15% Drop to 341,648 Units

Including the sale of commercial vehicles, Bajaj Auto reported on Friday that its overall vehicle sales fell 15% to 3,41,648 units in August.

In August of the previous year, the business reported total car sales of 4,01,595 units.

According to a statement from Bajaj Auto Ltd, the total domestic sales fell 20% to 2,05,100 units in the prior month from 2,56,755 units sold in August 2022.

According to the report, the total number of vehicles exported decreased by 6% from the same month last year to 1,36,548 units in August, down from 1,44,840 units supplied to foreign markets.

From 3,55,625 units sold in August 2022, its total two-wheeler sales decreased by 20% to 2,85,031 units in the preceding month.

However, two-wheeler exports rose 2% to 1,24,211 units in August 2023 from 1,21,787 units in the same month the previous year.
