- Gets a new seven-speed DCT gearbox with paddle shifters
On September 1, 2023, Tata Motors India launched the updated Nexon nationwide. The carmaker has officially stated that reservations for the SUV will open on September 4 and end on September 14, 2023, respectively.
The Tata Nexon will be available in 11 variants with revised nomenclature by 2023. They are Pure+, Pure+ (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless+, and Fearless+ (S). Tata has introduced new exterior colours for the newest version of the SUV. Fearless Purple, Creative Ocean, Pristine White, Pure Grey, Daytona Grey, and Flame Red make up the colour scheme.
The revised Nexon’s interior features a new 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen with a 10.25-inch completely digital driver’s display, a gear lever designed to resemble one from a Land Rover, ventilated front seats, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.
Despite this, nothing has changed within. Both a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine are still available for the Nexon facelift. A new seven-speed DCT transmission with paddle shifters is added, but it is only available with the turbo-petrol engine.
