Citroen C3 Aircross Booking Will Start From September 15

Citroen India has announced that on September 15, customers will be able to book the new C3 Aircross at its dealerships. It is anticipated that in the next seven days, Citroen will reveal the prices of their C3 Aircross in the Indian market.

Citroen C3 Aircross powertrain

The C3 Aircross will only be available with one powertrain option: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 110 horsepower and a 6-speed manual gearbox. However, we have been informed that the C3 Aircross will eventually be offered with an automatic gearbox as an option. For now, both the standard C3 and C3 Aircross will be manufactured without an automatic gearbox, which is a big bummer. The fact that the customers can get a top-tier C3 Aircross model with either five or seven seats gives it an advantage over the other midsize SUVs that compete in this market.

Citroen C3 Aircross pricing

Earlier, Citroen India confirmed that the price of the C3 Aircross will be “in the middle of the segment.” However, it only has a few features to add to its appeal. Other than the fact that it has two different seating arrangements, the C3 Aircross falls short on the feature list compared to its rivals. There will be no extra luxuries available for the Citron C3 Aircross, such as ventilated seats, wireless charging, a sunroof, or even automatic climate control. In addition, none of the available configurations will have a powered driver’s seat or LED headlamps as standard equipment. Even in terms of safety, it only has two airbags instead of the standard six that all its competitors provide as standard equipment.

Citroen C3 Aircross rivals

In India, the C3 Aircross will compete with a large army of other midsize SUVs such as the Skoda Kushaq, the Volkswagen Taigun, the Honda Elevate, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Toyota Hyryder, the extremely popular duo, the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos.
