Honda XL750 Transalp Enters Indian Market, Priced at Rs 10.99 Lakh

Rediscovering the Transalp Legacy

The Honda Transalp, which debuted at EICMA 2022, is one of the middle-weight adventure motorcycles that has generated the most conversation in recent months. The Japanese firm has now introduced the limited-edition XL750 Transalp in India, priced at Rs 10.99 lakh ex-showroom.

Like the legendary Honda Africa Twin, the Honda XL750 Transalp is a contemporary interpretation of the original Transalp from the 1980s. The motorbike has a classic adventure flair reminiscent of the Africa Twin but with a more compact design. The motorcycle has a tall fairing and an upswept side-slung exhaust.

With its 21-inch front wheel, 18-inch rear wheel, and 43mm Showa USD suspension up front, the Transalp is a motorbike that is perfect for both daily commuting and cross-continent travel. The motorcycle has dual-channel ABS disc brakes on both ends.

Other features include a 5-inch TFT dash that houses the speedometer, tachometer, gear-position indicator, fuel gauge and consumption, riding modes, engine parameters and more. This display is customizable per the rider’s preference, and the management can be done via the screen or the switchgear on the left handlebar.

Power and Precision: Honda XL750 Transalp’s Impressive Features

A 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft that produces 90 horsepower and 75 Nm of torque and is connected to a 6-speed transmission powers the new Honda XL750 Transalp. To improve engine efficiency, the cylinders are coated with Ni-SiC (Nickel-Silicon Carbide), the same coating used on the CRF450R and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.

Numerous technological aids, including five riding modes (Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User) that allow the rider to choose their preferred engine power, engine braking, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with ABS and assist slipper clutch, help control the power.

There will be two colour options for the new Honda XL750 Transalp: Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black. For the first 100 consumers, reservations are now being accepted for the same at all Honda BigWing shops.
