The Venue now includes Hyundai’s Level 1 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), only offered in the SX(O) and N8 models of the Venue N Line models. The company has also swapped the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol iMT gearbox with a 6-speed MT. Priced from Rs. 10.32 lakhs to Rs. 13.89 lakhs (ex-showroom), the upgraded Venue is now available.
Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (Car, Pedestrian, and cycle), Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert are among the Hyundai Venue’s ADAS Level 1 features.
With ADAS, also known as Hyundai SmartSense in the company’s official language, the Hyundai Venue becomes the first small SUV in its class. Hyundai has updated its Ioniq 5, Tucson, Verna, and Venue models to include ADAS.
Additionally, because Hyundai has already stopped making iMT with the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and is now offering a 6-speed manual, the car has yet to receive any additional cosmetic or mechanical improvements.
Hyundai continues to offer three engine choices for the Venue: a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine with normally aspirated combustion, a 1.0-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol engine and a 1.5-litre U2 diesel engine.
The only gearbox option for the 1.2-liter NA petrol engine’s 83 PS and 113.8 Nm of torque is the 5-speed manual. The 6-speed MT or 7-speed DCT is an option for the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which has a 120 PS and 172 Nm torque output. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates 250 Nm of torque and 116 PS. Only a 6-speed manual gearbox is offered with it.
The freshly updated Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger continue to be competitors of the Venue. The Venue N Line is marketed as a better-suited alternative to the regular Venue for drivers.
