Kawasaki unveiled the Ninja 7 Hybrid

Recent announcements by Kawasaki include unveiling the Ninja e-1 and the Z e-1 and additional information regarding the Ninja 7 Hybrid motorcycle.

The power comes from a parallel-twin engine that is 451 cc and is cooled by liquid and an electric motor. The combined peak power output now sits at 60 hp, but the e-boost function can temporarily raise it to 69 hp for 15 seconds. The internal combustion engine is responsible for 48 ponies, and the electric motor is responsible for 12 ponies.

A conventional clutch-gear shifter is not included on the Ninja 7 Hybrid. Instead, shift paddles are located on the left-hand side of the switch cluster, just like on Honda’s DCT-gearbox motorcycles. This is one of many peculiar features of this motorcycle. The Automatic Launch Position Finder on the Ninja 7 Hybrid makes it possible for riders to automatically select first gear with a button, regardless of what gear they were in previously. This is possible owing to the Ninja 7 Hybrid.

It’s possible that Kawasaki chose the name “Ninja 7” because the bike’s design is comparable to that of a 650-700cc bike in terms of size, and it also gives performance figures comparable to those of such bikes. According to Kawasaki, the bike will deliver a fuel efficiency comparable to that which one would anticipate from a motorbike with a displacement of 250cc or less.

When you come to a complete stop, the bike will cut off the engine to limit the pollution, and it will automatically start up again when you twist the throttle grip. In addition to the Sport Hybrid, Eco Hybrid, and EV riding modes, this motorcycle also features a Bluetooth-enabled TFT instrument cluster, which, like those of the Ninja and Z e-1, makes it possible to get navigation and notification alerts.

The exact specifications are closely guarded, but this motorcycle has a telescopic fork, a monoshock for its suspension, and twin front disc brakes. These two pieces of componentry are similar to those found on the Ninja 400 and 650 models.

The Ninja 7 Hybrid is scheduled to debut in showrooms across Europe in January 2024; however, whether it will be available in India can only be answered over time.
