Mercedes-AMG G 63 Grand Edition launched Priced at Rs 4 crore

Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the Grand Edition of the AMG G 63 in India. Prices for the vehicle start at Rs 4 crore (ex-showroom). The luxury SUV will only be produced in 1,000 vehicles worldwide, of which 25 will be set aside for existing Maybach, AMG, and S-Class customers. It is anticipated that shipments will begin during the first quarter of 2024.

The special edition SUV has unique Manufaktur exterior paint, with Kalahari Gold Magno inserts on the spare wheel ring, inlays in the front and rear bumpers, and underride protection as its aesthetic highlights. It is mounted on 22-inch AMG forged alloy wheels with a Mercedes star and a tech gold paint finish on the central locking nut. 

The cabin’s interior is decorated with a black theme with gold accents. It has an illuminated AMG symbol on the door trims, an AMG performance steering wheel, black Nappa leather seats with contrast gold stitching, and matching black floor mats. The grab handle’s trim piece has a “Grand Edition” label and is finished in carbon with copper threads.

The AMG G 63 Grand Edition will be powered by a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine with 578 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The SUV has a top speed of 220 kmph and can achieve 0 to 100 kmph in under 4.5 seconds. The brand’s 4MATIC system will distribute the generated power to all four wheels.
