New Honda CB350 Hits the Roads with a Starting Price of Rs 2 Lakh, Ready to Take on Royal Enfield Classic 350

Following the recent release of a teaser image for an upcoming motorcycle, Honda has added a third model to its line of 350cc motorcycles to go up against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 as a competitor. It is referred to as the CB350 and is similar to the RE. However, it is propelled by the same engine and supported by the same chassis as the H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS.

The base model of the motorcycle, the DLX, can be purchased for Rs 2 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the DLX Pro variant costs 2.18 lakhs.

All Honda BigWing locations nationwide are now taking reservations for the bike. The new bike will soon be available for purchase. Honda still needs to provide a clear schedule for when the deliveries will take place.

The new Honda CB350 retains the classic look. It comes equipped with a full complement of LED lights, including a circular LED headlight, LED winkers, and LED tail lights. Long fenders made of metal, metallic coverings for the front forks, split seats, and other features are included in the package.

The motorcycle is equipped with a digital-analogue instrument cluster and a Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS), all standard equipment. Precious Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Crust Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, and Matte Dune Brown are the five colour options for purchasing.

It is powered by the same air-cooled, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine that produces 21 PS at 5500 RPM and 29.4 Nm of torque at 3000 RPM. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, and assist mechanism. Honda claims its exhaust tone is powerful and low-pitched.

This motorcycle comes equipped with (HSTC), which Honda manufactured. In addition, it has an emergency stop signal feature that flashes danger lamps to let drivers behind you know that you have suddenly come to a stop.

In terms of its physical appearance, it has much more in common with the Classic 350 than with anything that Honda has ever manufactured. The similarities are easy to spot, beginning with the covered telescopic fork and continuing down to the exhaust system and fender design. The degree to which Honda has mimicked its competitor is a little disheartening to behold, and the final product is a motorbike that, at least in terms of its appearance, gives the impression of being reasonably derivative.

Along with the newly released Honda CB350, Honda is including a 10-year warranty package in the price. This includes a 3-year basic warranty and an additional 7-year extended warranty. It will go head-to-head with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in terms of competition.
