Nexon Facelift Exterior Upgrades

The Harrier EV and Curvv EV concepts are design models for the Nexon makeover. It has a split headlamp design, with the daytime running lights (DRLs) at the top and the headlights mounted in a trapezoidal housing on the bumper. A thin top grille with the Tata Motors logo connects the DRL and the thick bar across the bumper’s lower half.

The 16-inch alloy wheels now look fresh, and the accent line is no longer accentuated in a different shade. The reverse light has been relocated to the bumper, and the Nexon makeover now features a full-width LED light bar connecting the taillights.

The SUV’s dimensions have changed; its length and height increased by 2 mm and 14 mm, respectively, while its width has fallen by 7 mm. However, the wheelbase and ground clearance remain unchanged at 2,498mm and 208mm, respectively. The boot has a 382-litre capacity, according to Tata Motors.

The entirely revamped inside layout is one of the most notable features of the brand-new Nexon makeover. The vehicle now has a new, streamlined look modelled around the future Tata Curvv. A brand-new, enormous 10.25-inch touchscreen entertainment system commands the centre of the new dashboard. The new dual-tone design, touch-based HVAC controls with two physical toggle switches, a brand-new 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, and cleaner, simpler air conditioning vents are some of the interior’s other standout features.

Nexon facelift Engine and Transmission Options

The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with 120 hp and 170 nm and the 1.5-litre diesel engine remain under the Nexon facelift hood. Despite both engines maintaining their current 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT, depending on the variant, the petrol engine also offers the choice of a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox (with paddle shifters).

Tata Motors is no longer utilising the former version naming that began with “X—XE, XM, XM+, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux—and instead employs a naming structure similar to Punch. These trims are Smart, Smart+, Smart+ S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative+, Creative+ S, Fearless, Fearless S, and Fearless+ S of the Nexon makeover. The “+” indicates add-on packages with various extras, while the “S” indicates the sunroof installation.
