Toyota Kirloskar: 66% October Sales Spike to 21,879 Units

A Remarkable Surge in Sales

With sales of 21,879 units, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a great month. This represents a significant increase of 66% from October 2022 sales, which were 13,143 units. In total, the company exported 1,337 units and sold 20,542 units in the home market.

TKM has maintained a good growth rate throughout the year. Sales of 1,92,661 units during the January–October period of the company’s Calendar Year performance exceeded 1,38,190 units sold in the same time of the previous year, indicating a significant 40% gain in 2023.

Similarly, TKM reported sales of 1,45,818 units in the first seven months of FY23 compared to 1,04,986 units sold in FY22, representing a 39% increase in 2023. Moreover, TKM has been able to meet market demand thanks in large part to the increased manufacturing capacity made possible by three-shift operations.

“For us, sustained growth has come from across every segment where Toyota is present,” he continued. TKM is producing consistent returns due to this increasing trend, and new bookings are still coming in. In addition to vehicles like the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, and Hilux, the new Vellfire and Rumion have just been added, which has helped the favourable booking trend.
